OUR SAME-SEX WEDDING PLANNING PHILOSOPHY #ALUXEWEDDINGSince the inception of Luxe in 2009, before same-sex marriage was legal, we have welcomed all types of couples to our wedding planning docket. We were extremely proud to be the very first wedding planning company in our region to publicly announce our support of marriage equality by launching Portland’s first ever LGBTQ-inclusive wedding shows, COMMITTED and MARRY ME NIGHT MARKET. We have always, and will always, take the stance that we never segregate or change the way we do things based on a person’s sexual preference or identifying gender. Ever.
We're so grateful for the many same-sex couples who have trusted us with their pre-2009 Commitment Ceremony to today’s Wedding Planning. (YAY!) For years Luxe has been one of the most-hired LGBTQ wedding planning team in the Pacific Northwest.
We also feel like we have a unique ability to connect with our same-sex couples as multiple LUXE team members throughout the years have identified as gay, lesbian, pan or bi-sexual. We want our clients to know, without a doubt, that our company is a safe haven, a hate-free zone, and we do not tolerate anything but love and acceptance.Our company is committed to aiding all efforts to support the movement of human rights and marriage equality in our communities.
Couples who contact us will be treated with same professionalism, love and commitment as any hetero identifying client and are respected as such regardless of their sexual orientation.
We believe in challenging the status quo. Meet The Team
First and foremost, we are creative producers, marketers, and promoters. We are always on the lookout for what's hot and trending. As individuals, we are known for our unique style, authenticity, passion, work ethic, and experience.
We plan, produce, coordinate, design, style, market, promote and live for a good party. Give us a blank space (a warehouse, a private property, a field of wildflowers, a magazine spread) and watch us create something remarkable.
Event production is our jam, but we're really known for our award-winning outdoor weddings and public events. You know, like, trade shows, festivals, night markets, galas, auctions, golf tournaments. To name a few.
