Who is Dash of Pride?
In 2019 when my wife and I were married, we were discriminated against when looking at wedding venues. It was that experience along with the lack of decor that we realized our community was underrepresented, making our dream wedding difficult to plan.
From our experience, I set out on a mission to change the heteronormative narrative throughout the wedding industry.
In May of 2020, I launched Dash of Pride, the store where you can shop, plan and design the wedding of your dreams. We hope that when shopping with us you feel a sense of belonging among a community that “gets you”. We want you to look back on your special day filled with joy knowing your day was easy to plan and full of love.
A little over a year later we have built a network of Dash of Pride Brand Advocates that have joined us on the mission of Inclusivity for ALL within the wedding industry. This July we launched the Dash of Pride Wedding Pros Vendor Directory. I wanted a safe space where folx can feel confident knowing that their wedding professionals see them, accept them and love them. Our wedding pros want to share in the writing of your love story!
